Storyline

Are you ready for an adventure in the Wild West? Then hop on board the Rootin Tootin Target Trail, an indoor Dark Ride that will test your shooting skills and your courage! Join old Sam Hobs, the owner of the goldmine, as he tries to stop the mischievous critters from blowing up his precious treasure with their dynamite. Shoot at the glowing targets and score points as you travel through the mine. Watch out for the surprises along the way, and don’t let the critters get away with their explosive plan! Who will be the best sharpshooter in your family? Find out on Sam’s scoreboard after the ride!

The heart of the experience lies in 6 four-seated vehicles, each promising an adventure like never before. With 136 targets strategically scattered throughout the entire ride, guests are in for a thrilling journey through the Rootin Tootin Target Trail.

TRIG Interactive System

Lagotronics Projects equipped the Rootin Tootin Target Trail with the in-house developed TRIG interactive and show control system. The interactive system consists of interactive devices and LED targets. The interactive devices, in this case Revolvers, are built into the vehicles. Each player has his own gun and can use it to shoot at the targets. If a target is hit it will change color and blink. This way it is clear when a target is hit.

The show control system ensures that the score is kept for each individual player. In addition, the guns can activate various special effects such as audio effects, light effects and animatronics. Guests can thus influence their own experience. At the exit of the attraction, visitors can see their achieved total score on the score monitor.
