At Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, healthy and sustainable food takes center stage. Because companies and science work intensively together on campus, the finest innovations in the field of healthy and sustainable food are created.

Lagotronics Projects provided innovative custom solutions for the Future Food Experience and executed the project from concept to reality.

Unique glimpse of the future

In the 8-minute 360-degree video experience, thoughts are reset, senses are stimulated and visitors discover what happens when you think and dare differently. The experience encourages visitors and future partners to explore opportunities for collaboration and joint development.

Innovative custom technological design

Located in an open location within the Brightlands Campus, a semi-permanent set-up was placed using a truss construction and a double-layer canvas equipped with a full-color print on the outside and a special projection fabric on the inside, within which the experience takes place.

Within this setup is an impressive 360-degree video projection measuring 9 meters in diameter, which is presented using eight laser projectors. This experience is enhanced by a scent machine, pixel-controlled LED lighting in the greenhouse, a comprehensive 7-channel audio system and custom audiovisual content, resulting in an immersive experience. RGBWA spotlights were installed for ambient lighting outside the greenhouse and on the greenhouse.

These elements create a unique experience, taking visitors on a journey of discovery through the future of food and agriculture.

The lighting, audio and video is fully controlled via show control. The control panel is a 7-inch touchscreen installed at the entrance to the experience room.
