At this moment we are looking for:

Account Manager Leisure (m/f)

Would you like to work in a dynamic and informal organization that realizes creative and innovative projects around the globe for theme parks, family entertainment centers, zoos and museums? Lagotronics Projects is looking for a proactive account manager who has the necessary experience and has therefore built up a solid network within the leisure and entertainment industry. You are responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring potential new customers. You spend the majority of your working week out of the office visiting customers, attending network events and trade shows, in the Netherlands and abroad. You are responsible for your own customer portfolio, schedule and sales objectives, but you achieve results as part of a team!

Your responsibilities:

• Recognize and investigate customer needs and identify opportunities within the market
• Visit and advise customers face-to-face and online
• Maintain and expand the customer portfolio
• Visit networking events and trade shows (globally)
• Produce and follow up quotations (including large project quotations)
• Follow up incoming customer requests
• Discuss quotations and negotiate with customers
• Identify product developments required by the customer and discuss these during the sales meeting
• Give presentations and provide product information
• Supervise the transfer of assignments to operating units and/or project teams
• Produce sales plans: visit frequency, number of new customers, turnover growth and margin development, use of sales support instruments

As an account manager, you will be part of the marketing and sales department. You work closely with the sales manager, the back office and, where necessary, you have contact with the various sales agents and suppliers. You frequently interact with other departments, including procurement, engineering, project management and finance, for the development of customer requests and during projects.

Your assets:

• A good command of Dutch and English. German and/or French is an advantage (spoken and written)
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role in the leisure and/or entertainment industry
• A solid network within the industry
• A technical understanding and/or knowledge of AV and show control is an advantage
• You are completely at home with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Your personality:

• You are motivated and energized by achieving commercial success
• You have a commercial and business instinct
• You have strong communication skills and you know how to enthuse and convince other people
• You are customer-oriented and are able to identify with customers
• You work in a structured and precise manner (logging customer data and quotations in a ERP/CRM system)
• You are independent and can work independently (you schedule your own work and manage your own diary)
• You are a genuine team player
• You are proactive and dare to take the initiative
• You believe that humor and fun are important (when appropriate)
